Committee Nominations

A final reminder.

Our AGM is fast approuching.

At an AGM all current committee members stand down and members have to elect a new committee.

Any member can stand as a committee member.

Current committee members or members of the association who'd like to become a new committee member should submitt their name and also the names of 2 other members (not same household) who support. The closing date is 10 February 2025. You can email [email protected] or pop your nomination in the RA's black letterbox.

At an AGM, members elect the committee for the next year. We normally do that as a show of hands to elect everyone who has put themselves forward as a batch. However, if there are more than 10 people standing we would need to arrange a secret ballot on the night and the 10 with the most votes would be elected (10 is the maximum permitted under our constitution).
